Childcare Cook

We are looking for a dedicated Childcare Cook to join our team.
Responsibilities:
Please note that it is not restricted to this list and duties may be added as we grow our business.

• Preparing snacks and lunch daily for all children.
• Menu planning, prepare and cook as directed meeting nutritional requirements.
• Provide alternative meals for children that require accommodations (allergies or food sensitivity)
• Ensure kitchen is clean and sanitary at all times.
• Maintain proper temperatures of food.
• Able to cook and bake from scratch.
• Be flexible and open to change.
• Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
• Knowledge on kitchen preparation and proper sanitation.
• Maintain inventory and record of food, supplies and equipment.
• Create and manage grocery lists based on weekly menus.
• Deliver and collect lunch/snack trays to and from all classroom.

Qualifications:

• Food safe/food handler certificate required.
• Current First-Aid/CPR Certificate (level C) required.
• Culinary experience.
• Experience in a daycare environment preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Well organized and strong team player.
• Cleared criminal record check.
• Must have minimum experience 3 years.
