Schedule: Full-Time, 11:30 a.m. – 7:30 p.m. (30-minute unpaid break)
Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour
About the RoleAramark Canada is seeking a Food Prep Worker to join our team.The Food Prep Worker is responsible for preparing and portioning food items, maintaining a clean work area, and ensuring that all meals meet production requirements and company sanitation standards.You'll play a key role in supporting daily meal service and ensuring a safe, high-quality dining experience for residents and guests.Responsibilities

• Prepare, portion, and label food items according to production needs and standardized recipes.
• Follow food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and maintain a clean workspace.
• Assist with dishwashing and general kitchen duties as needed.
• Support the kitchen team in meeting service timelines and quality expectations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in food preparation or kitchen support (dishwashing, prep work, etc.).
• Knowledge of proper knife handling, temperature control, and sanitation procedures.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math to follow recipes and portion guidelines.
• Food Safety Certificate preferred.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
