CNC Machinist

*Afternoon shift 2:30pm to 11pm*

What You'll Do

• Operate CNC milling, turning, VBM, and horizontal milling machines to meet production and quality targets.

• Interpret engineering drawings to determine dimensions, tolerances, sequences, and setup requirements.

• Perform preventative maintenance on machines to ensure reliability and uptime.

• Verify machined parts using precision instruments such as micrometers, Verniers, calipers, and height gauges.

• Maintain accurate inspection reports and quality records.

• Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and production teams to resolve machining and quality issues.

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains.

• Follow all company policies, ISO quality standards, and health and safety protocols.

• Perform other duties as required to support production operations.

What You Bring

• 5+ years CNC machining experience (production environment preferred).

• CNC programming experience is a must.

• Strong understanding of metrology, tooling, and fixturing.

• Technical school graduate or equivalent hands-on training.

• Proficiency in advanced math (geometry and trigonometry).

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical shop floor tasks.

• Knowledge of conventional milling and turning (an asset).

• A self-starter with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
