REGIONAL FIELD SERVICE MANAGER

Height Works is seeking a motivated and collaborative team member to join our growing organization. As a Regional Field Service Manager for the Lower Mainland in British Columbia, you are responsible for performing a variety of tasks including overseeing daily operations, driving new sales, managing a small team of staff, ensuring customer service and sales satisfaction, and onsite inspection and installation of engineered fall protection systems. Key duties include working collaboratively with senior leadership to set sales and service targets, supporting company policies and culture, and cultivating customer and vendor relationships. The role requires strong leadership, communication, analytical and business development skills combined with onsite construction experience and leadership.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Operations Management: Direct daily branch operations to ensure efficient and effective functioning, and reporting.

Onsite Inspections and Installations: Actively participate in onsite inspections and installation of engineered fall protection systems and other components. With a strong knowledge of using PPE, and distributing and storing engineered system materials and components throughout the project work site, while always ensuring an organized and safe service delivery.

Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and legal and regulatory requirements.

Customer & Stakeholder Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and other key stakeholders, while handling client regional inquiries.

Staff Management: Recruit, hire, train, and motivate regional staff to ensure high productivity, excellent customer service, and a positive work environment.

Sales and Business Development: Collaborate and implement strategies to increase sales, grow market share, while working to achieve overall business objectives.

Market Analysis: Work collaboratively with leadership team to monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities and inform business strategies.

Financial Oversight: Monitor branch financial performance and manage assigned budgets.

Required skills

• Passion for the Fall Protection industry.
• Willingness to learn and adhere to strict safety rules and regulations.
• Previous construction experience or experience working with hand tools (manual and powered).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with customers and collaborating with colleagues.
• Ability to lead, motivate and develop a team keen to achieve its goals.
• A strong focus on customer satisfaction and the ability to resolve issues effectively.
• Friendly, positive, and professional attitude combined with strong communication skills and a strong work ethic.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Docs, Email, Report Writing.

Qualifications, Certifications and/or Training

• Designations - CSA 147.2 Weld Inspections (level 1 and/or 2), or Tech and/or CET
• Certifications - Fall protection end user, Fall Protection Inspection and/or Competent Person, Aerial Work Platform, Rescue Safety or Confined Spaces.
• Fall protection systems use experience
• Training - Construction work safety, engineered fall protection system installations, or personal safety equipment inspections.
• And an impeccable safety record.
