Job Description

We are currently seeking a snow removal Heavy tractor operator to join our team! We are looking for up-beat people who love getting their hands dirty and working outdoors. The main duties include keeping your area clean of garbage, snow removal when applicable, and making the area look nice. Direct deposit is paid weekly. This opportunity is for night shift. Overnight / Early Morning.

Responsibilities

• Operate snow plow equipment to clear roads, parking lots, and other designated areas
• Remove snow and ice from roadways and apply salt or sand as necessary
• Monitor weather conditions and respond to snow and ice events in a timely manner
• Follow designated routes, maps, snow piling locations and ensure thorough coverage of assigned areas
• Perform routine maintenance on snow plow equipment to ensure proper functioning
• Communicate with supervisors and team members regarding work progress and any issues encountered
• Use of safety and other apps as required for the job
• Fit for duty and work preparedness

Requirements:

• 3 years personal vehicle insurance
• Valid class 5 drivers license
• Clean drivers abstract
  
• Experience operating snow plowing equipment/loader required
• Ability to work in cold weather conditions for extended periods of time
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Good communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks associated with snow removal
  

Job Type: Fixed term contract

Contract length: 6 months
