Job Details:
AFIMAC Canada has both part-time and full-time openings for Train Marshalls.
You will Earn:
- $35 per hour
- Accommodation provided when required
Hours:
- Part-time: 20-33 hours per week (depending on route assigned)
- Full-time: 35-50 hours per week (depending on route assigned)
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly and appropriately to emergency situations
- Monitor potential threats and adjust security measures
- Maintain a high level of professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion in all situations.
- Collaborate with other security personnel, including drivers, logistical support, and surveillance teams, to ensure the overall safety of subject/s.
- Maintain an accurate record of any incidents that occur
- Establish and maintain secure environments.
- Conduct risk assessments and proactive threat planning
- Maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism
Job Requirements:
- 2+ years in close protection experience
- Valid Security License (in province of hiring)
- Use of Force training
- Ability to travel and work away from home regularly
- Former police/military or close protection training preferred
- Martial arts or use-of-force background required
- Excellent communication, judgement, and de-escalation skills
- Professional grooming and punctuality required
- Must be customer service-oriented
- Able to work independently and in a team environment
- Overnight travel may be required
