Project Manager

Join a high-impact team driving innovation and operational excellence in Canada's nuclear sector. We are seeking a Project Manager to support the Pickering Nuclear Refurbishment. This role is integral to the lifecycle management of engineered tooling used in Retube and Feeder Replacement (RFR) scopes at Pickering B.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end execution of engineered tooling projects including requirements definition, design, fabrication, testing, and readiness.
• Ensure tooling delivery meets schedule, budget, and quality expectations.
• Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and Ontario Power Generation stakeholders to align documentation and delivery milestones.
• Champion continuous improvement, nuclear safety, and quality assurance throughout the tooling lifecycle.
• Oversee tooling readiness processes and ensure compliance with project controls for cost and schedule reporting.
• Support the Deputy Project Director, Tooling, in executing RFBR tooling scope.
• Manage matrixed resources across engineering, procurement, and construction functions.
• Drive fiscal accountability and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or timelines.

• 2-3 years of nuclear experience.
• 5+ years of project management experience, focusing on cost, schedule, and quality of tooling equipment.
• Experience managing budgets of $50-100 million.
• Familiarity with tooling systems integration with operation and nuclear needs.

• PMP certification preferred.
• Professional Engineer designation preferred.
• Experience with change order, construction, and construction management.

Work will take place in an office environment in Cambridge, with meetings required for tooling products. The role requires on-site presence 5 days a week, with no remote work option. Execution will begin in a year, and all staff, including Project Managers, are expected to be on-site every day.

This is a Contract position based out of Pickering, Ontario.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80.00 - $100.00/hr.
