Job Details:
Senior QA Engineer
Are you the type of person who can't help but notice every tiny detail, from typos to tech bugs, and feel a strong need to fix them? Do you get a thrill out of making sure things work exactly as they should? If so, we've got something you'll want to hear about.
We're helping a fast-moving, quality-driven team find their next Senior QA Engineer. Someone who doesn't just test software but takes full ownership of product quality and plays a key role in driving projects to a smooth, successful launch. This isn't just about spotting bugs, it's about ensuring nothing gets shipped unless it's solid, stable, and user-ready.
Responsibilities:
- Be the Eyes and Ears of Quality: Collaborate closely with product managers and developers to fully understand the project — from big-picture goals to technical implementation.
- Create Bulletproof Test Plans: Design thoughtful, edge-case-ready test plans and test cases that don't leave room for surprises.
- Test, Retest, and Test Again: Execute thorough manual and/or automated testing to ensure every release meets the highest standards.
- Champion Bug Resolution: Clearly document bugs, communicate with the dev team, and follow through until every issue is resolved.
- Keep Projects on Track: Flag risks, timelines, and blockers early — and help keep momentum moving forward.
- Document Everything: Maintain detailed test documentation and reports that keep the team aligned and audit-ready.
- 3+ years in a QA or software testing role.
- Strong foundation in software testing theory and practice.
- Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with Jira.
- Comfort with at least one automated testing framework or language (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Appium, Python, Java, JavaScript).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong analytical thinking and a solution-oriented mindset.
- Take ownership: you don't just log bugs, you make sure they get fixed.
- Are driven by detail: nothing gets past you.
- Think like an investigator: you ask the right questions and dig until you get to the root of the problem.
- Communicate clearly and respectfully: especially across technical and non-technical teams.
- Love documenting things well: and take pride in clean, clear test plans.
- Have a no-compromise attitude when it comes to quality.
Because this is more than just a QA job, it's a chance to become a key voice in a product-focused team that truly values your insight, your thoroughness, and your instinct to make things better.
If you're looking for a place where your attention to detail is celebrated and your work directly impacts the success of every launch, this could be a perfect fit.
