Thomas Buick GMC Ltd., a well-established General Motors dealership in Cobourg, is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Parts Manager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will support the Fixed Operations Manager in ensuring the smooth, efficient, and profitable operation of the Parts Department while providing excellent service to both internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Fixed Operations Manager with daily operations of the Parts Department.
• Manage inventory levels, stock orders, and returns.
• Support internal departments including Service, Body Shop, and Sales with accurate and timely parts supply.
• Provide outstanding customer service to retail and wholesale clients.
• Help coordinate parts promotions, pricing, and seasonal programs.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment.
• Assist with staff scheduling, training, and workflow management when required.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in an automotive dealership Parts Department (GM experience considered an asset).
• Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
• Knowledge of OEM and aftermarket parts systems.
• Computer proficiency and experience with inventory management software.
• Valid Ontario driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Positive attitude and a commitment to teamwork and customer satisfaction.
