Job Title: Uoffer Education Program Consultant
Position Type: FTE - Permanent
Location: Remote / Ontario
Salary Range / Rate (Currency): $37000 - $39000CAD
Responsibilities

• Provide personalized career coaching based on students' backgrounds, interests, and long-term goals.
• Help students clarify career objectives and design practical pathways toward employment in the U.S.
• Advise students on target industries and roles, offering both hard skills (technical, professional tools) and soft skills (communication, teamwork, leadership) development strategies.
• Share up-to-date market trends, case studies, and role-specific insights.
• Provide access to valuable resources to enhance students' job search effectiveness.
• Follow up regularly with students to track progress and offer continuous guidance.
• Help students address challenges and adapt strategies throughout their career journey.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above; 1–3+ years of relevant work experience.
• Prior experience in international student career coaching, higher education, or career services is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of the U.S. job search process, including resume writing, online applications, networking, and interviewing.
• Familiarity with in-demand career fields (e.g., Finance, CS, Data, AI, SDE, MLE, BA, DA).
• Excellent communication skills, patience, and a high level of responsibility.
• Ability to inspire, guide, and problem-solve with students during their job search journey.
• Fully remote, must be able to work across time zones as needed.
• The ability to communicate effectively in both English and Mandarin is an asset, as many of our students are native Mandarin speakers and benefit from guidance in their first language.
