Position: Restaurant General Manager
Location: Alberta, CanadaOverviewWe are seeking a dynamic and innovative Restaurant General Manager to lead daily operations and deliver exceptional guest experiences. This role requires a strong leader with a passion for hospitality and mixology, capable of elevating bar programming and driving service excellence while ensuring financial performance.Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, coach, and inspire a team of 45–60 colleagues to achieve high levels of guest satisfaction.
  • Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring profitability by managing beverage costs, labor, reservations, turnaround times, and average checks.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop and implement creative beverage programs aligned with current industry trends.
  • Demonstrate strong product knowledge and curate innovative bar offerings to enhance guest experiences.
  • Participate in financial forecasting, reporting, and analysis to support revenue goals.
  • Conduct departmental meetings, foster open communication, and drive operational alignment.
  • Ensure consistent presence on the floor to recognize and resolve service issues promptly.
  • Analyze guest feedback and performance data to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Partner with cross-functional departments as needed to support operations and guest services.
  • Uphold brand and service standards through operational decisions.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of senior F&B management experience in a luxury, four- or five-star property.
  • Strong knowledge of food, beverage, and mixology; certification in responsible alcohol service is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with menu design software and social media platforms.
  • Post-secondary degree in Hospitality or Food & Beverage Management is an asset.
  • Demonstrated ability to design and implement innovative bar programs.
  • Proven track record as an effective leader and collaborative team player.
  • Strong financial and cost-control expertise.
  • Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work varied schedules and thrive under pressure.
