We are seeking a Lighting Assembler to join our growing team! The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, hands-on, and comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.

MUST BE ABLE TO WORK 40 HOURS ON SIN LONG-TERM (at least 1 year)

Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday

Major Intersection: Queensway E and Cawthra - transit accessible

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret and follow production drawings (DWG), wiring diagrams, schematics, and BOMs to ensure accurate assembly.
• Align and secure parts using jigs, fixtures, and positioning tools as required.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and pneumatic equipment to assemble, fasten, or solder components.
• Install components such as PCBs, power outlets, capacitors, switches, lenses, reflectors, and other hardware onto lighting units.
• Route and connect internal wiring following diagrams, using proper crimping and soldering techniques.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace at all times.
• Perform repetitive assembly tasks with accuracy and consistency while meeting quality standards.
• Safely lift and handle assemblies or materials weighing up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in electrical or mechanical assembly preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Comfortable using hand and power tools.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
