Job Description:

Overview: As a Garbage Truck Loader, you will play a crucial role in waste management by collecting garbage, yard waste, and recycling from residential curbside bins or bags and emptying them into the trucks.

Responsibilities:

• Ride on the back of waste and recycling trucks to collect garbage, yard waste, and recycling.
• Empty residential curbside bins or bags into the trucks.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines.

Requirements:

• General labour experience preferred
• Physically fit and able to lift up to 50lbs
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
• Responsible for making 800+ residential stops per day based on your route
• Must have steel-toed work boots above the ankle and a high visibility vest
• Available to work full-time, Monday to Friday, 10/12 hour days

Shift:

• Monday to Friday
• 6:00am Start time
• 10- 12 hours shifts

Pay Rate:

• $23.02/Hr
