Job Overview

A Contract Administrator is responsible for managing and overseeing contracts, ensuring they are drafted, reviewed, and executed according to organizational policies and legal requirements. Facilitate processes in a consistent and repeatable capacity to ensure that they are managed in accordance with the established best practices. Play a vital role in contract implementation, and compliance, working with various stakeholders to mitigate risks and maintain contractual obligations.

Core Responsibilities

· Review and oversee contract drawings and documents during the pre-construction phase.

· Ensure accurate payments, financial forecasts and appropriate documentation for claims settlement negotiations.

· Effectively manage and supervise multiple concurrent projects.

· You have analytical and problem-solving skills to assess construction issues having financial impacts.

· Strong negotiation and dispute resolution skills.

· Review sales package for completeness, following up on outstanding contractual requirements.

· Respond to and ensure efficient & accurate resolution to daily telephone and email inquiries pertaining to contract administration, meeting established service level standards.

· Track and notify sales agents and other internal parties regarding errors and omissions and updates system as necessary with new information.

· Ensure proper documentation and retention of financial records as required by Home Depot

Skills & Qualifications

· Post-secondary diploma in a related field or equivalent experience.

· Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Requires strong ability to multi-task under pressure and time constraints to meet various deadlines while maintaining keen attention to detail.

· Able to respond to constantly changing needs and schedules and to organize and prioritize workload.

· Decisive with good judgment/decision-making skills to act effectively in resolving contracting & payment issues.

· Requires well-developed problem solving and analytical skills.

· Accurate keyboarding skills with good working knowledge of Word, Excel and Quick Books.

· Experience with SAP is a nice to have.

· Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field is a nice to have

· Must be able to work as a part of a collaborative team with all levels and departments as well as work independently.

· Strong technical, logic and mathematic skills with attention to detail.

· Ensure proper documentation and retention of financial records as required by Home Depot
