Fairway Ford is seeking a detail oriented Autobody Technician/Estimator to join our team. The Autobody Technician /Estimator is responsible for assessing vehicle damage, preparing accurate repair estimates, and performing high-quality body and collision repairs. This dual role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and excellent customer service to ensure timely, cost-effective, and safe repairs.

Primary Responsibilities:

Inspect vehicles to determine the extent of structural, body, mechanical, and interior damage.

Prepare accurate estimates using industry-standard software

Communicate with insurance companies and customers regarding repair timelines, costs, and approvals.

Provide clear explanations of repair processes to customers in a professional manner.

Perform structural and cosmetic body repairs to manufacturer specifications.

Complete welding, sanding, filling, and refinishing as required.

Ensure repairs meet OEM, safety, and quality standards.

Maintain a clean and safe working environment, following company and provincial safety regulations.

Red Seal certification (Auto Body Repair Technician) or equivalent experience preferred.

Experience as an autobody technician with expertise in estimating

Proficiency with estimating software and familiarity with insurance claim processes.

Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Valid class 5 driver's license or equivalent
