Tradespeople / Handypeople for General Building & Property Repairs
We are looking for Experienced Tradespeople able to work independently on varied scope of work projects at townhouses and condominium complexes, located in Surrey, Langley and Tri-cities area. Other areas in Metro Vancouver may be available. Individuals should have experience in most aspects of residential construction and property maintenance. You will be supported by our dedicated team every step of the way to be successful. We offer flexible full-time or part-time hours, and competitive compensation opportunities ( $34/hr ~ $55/hr).
We have established strong and trusted relationships with our property management clients over the past 18 years by delivering quality services in a timely manner.
Requirements:
• Carpentry, general building and property maintenance.
• 3+ years of experience working with hand and power tools, interior and exterior finishes, drywall, siding, decks, fencing, masonry, painting, etc.
• Personal truck or van is a plus which pays travel and fuel, however, a company service vehicle can be provided.
• Providing your own basic hand tools and safety footwear is a requirement, however, our company can assist with acquiring these items if needed.
• Good communications skills as you will be representing our company to clients and homeowners.
Qualifications:
• Able to ensure the execution of general carpentry, building and property maintenance processes are carried out thoroughly.
• Able to lead an apprentice on site, under the direction of the project manager for additional support.
• Skilled in rough and finish carpentry work. (hand and power tools, circular saw, mitre saw, residential wood framing carpentry, drywall & painting, blue print reading, safety regulations, first aid, project management, site supervisor experience)
• General housekeeping, including maintaining a tidy and orderly job site.
• Keep orderly records of accurate timesheets and material receipts.
• Provide regular updates from jobsite about status of assigned jobs via mobile app.
• Competent with technology to read and reply to emailed work orders, material requirements, and take pictures with your mobile device.
