The Senior Reconciliation Analyst will play a dual role: ensuring daily reconciliation accuracy and applying modern technology (including platforms like DUCO, automation tools, and data analytics) to optimize workflows and control processes. You'll be part of a small but highly collaborative team responsible for cash and asset reconciliation while also supporting the design and implementation of our next-generation reconciliation platform and Target Operating Model (TOM). WHAT YOU WILL DOCore Reconciliation Duties
- Perform daily cash and asset reconciliations, aligning our book of records with banks, custodians, depositories (e.g., CDS/DTC), and counterparties.
- Investigate, resolve, and escalate reconciliation breaks to minimize risk and ensure accuracy.
- Monitor and analyze exception trends, working proactively with internal and external stakeholders to address root causes.
- Build and maintain reconciliation workflows using DUCO.
Platform & Process Enhancement
- Support the implementation and testing of a new reconciliation platform.
- Participate in the rollout of a new Target Operating Model (TOM), defining roles, responsibilities, and control checkpoints.
- Identify and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency, scalability, and control.
Reporting & Metrics
- Help prepare reconciliation dashboards and KPIs for management reporting.
- Track performance metrics, exception volumes, and root-cause resolutions.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
- 3–6 years of experience in reconciliations, financial operations, or data analytics in a financial services environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science
- Hands-on experience using DUCO or similar reconciliation platforms (highly preferred).
- Experience with financial data tools and programming/scripting languages (e.g., Python, SQL, R).
- Exposure to depository systems like CDS/DTC, or trade lifecycle tools (e.g., FIX,
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Excel (advanced), with VBA an asset.
- Familiarity with machine learning frameworks or robotic process automation (RPA) is a plus.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and prioritization skills.
- Effective communicator with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
- Adaptable to change and excited by technology-driven transformation.
