- Location: Cornwall, Ontario
- Salary: Competitive Salary - up to $85,000 - based on experience
- Job Type/Shift: Monday to Friday – 8:00am – 4:30pm

What You'll Do:
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure quality targets are consistently achieved and coordinate visual verification of products to uphold standards.
- Identify, recommend, and implement updates to quality management systems, policies, procedures, and processes for ongoing improvement.
- Lead and actively participate in management reviews and meetings, ensuring effective follow-up actions for quality-related issues.
- Conduct thorough failure analyses and investigations, initiate corrective actions, and address non-conformances from customers, suppliers, and internal sources.
- Train and educate staff on the latest Quality Management Systems and procedures, including updates to drawings and operational processes.
- Steer new product development by driving project quality planning, facilitating design reviews, conducting configuration audits, and preparing first article reports.
- Establish clear verification standards, provide essential support and training to verification staff, and improve process efficiency through certification initiatives.
- Maintain, analyze, and update quality records, oversee equipment calibrations, and generate KPI reports to monitor effectiveness and uncover potential risks.
- Foster cross-departmental collaboration to meet quality objectives, coordinate visual product inspections, and proactively resolve issues with relevant managers.
- Utilize Continuous Improvement tools such as 5Why's, 8D Problem Solving, Advanced Quality Planning, and 5S to streamline processes and boost overall quality.
What We're Looking For:
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, preferably in electronics or manufacturing environments.
- Education in Technology or Engineering Degree and (Preferred) have a quality (CQE etc) or six sigma accreditations.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 standards, quality tools (e.g., FMEA, SPC, 8D), and audit processes.
- Proficiency with QA software and ERP systems; experience with MRP systems is an asset.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with a collaborative, solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to negotiate.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and commitment to safety and compliance.
- Lifting required, Visual acuity and daily use of computers – MS Office Suite.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check.
