Job Overview:

We are seeking a Sales Specialist to join our team. This role will focus on converting inbound leads for domestic and international pet relocations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage with potential clients via phone, email, or online platforms to understand their pet relocation needs.
• Educate clients on the pet relocation process, including regulations, required documentation, and timelines.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships to build trust.
• Manage a pipeline of leads, following up promptly and efficiently to close deals.
• Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals to be determined in collaboration with management.
• Meet or exceed close ratios (e.g. deals won / leads utilized) to be determined in collaboration with management.
• Stay updated on international pet travel regulations, quarantine laws, and airline pet policies.
• Prepare sales handoff materials as expected by Paws en route so that Pet Travel Specialists can execute on closed deals.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and outcomes in the CRM system or as agreed to with management.

Qualifications:

• Required: Previous experience selling at an IPATA agency or in a logistics setting such as employee relocation.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or evenings as needed (due to global time zones).
• Passion for animal welfare and dedication to safe, ethical transport.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and logistics management systems.

Compensation

• Compensation for this role includes a base salary plus commissions.
