Hours: Continental Rotation (0700–1900 / 1900–0700)

Paladin Security Group is hiring dedicated Security Guards to join our team at Brockville General Hospital. This is a rewarding opportunity to provide vital security services within a healthcare setting while developing skills for future career growth.

As a Security Guard, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of patients, staff, and visitors by performing proactive patrols, responding to incidents, and delivering excellent customer service. • Patrol interior and exterior areas of the hospital to maintain a safe environment
• Monitor guests, staff, and patients to proactively address incidents
• Perform patient watches as required
• Remain calm and act effectively in emergency situations
• Complete detailed incident and end-of-shift reports
• Supervise and monitor access to hospital facilities
• Follow established procedures and carry out additional duties as assigned

Requirements

• Valid Ontario Security Guard License
• Valid First Aid & CPR – Level C Certificate (WSIB-approved provider)
• Ability to be clean-shaven for N95 Mask Fit Test
• Proof of COVID-19 vaccination (minimum double dose)
• Completed immunization for MMRV and Tuberculosis (or proof at time of hire)
• Fluency in English (verbal and written)
• Legally authorized to work in Canada

• Fluency in French
• 6+ months of security experience
• Healthcare or hospital security experience
• Certifications in Use of Force (UoF) and Management of Aggressive Behaviour (MOAB)
• Willingness to complete Paladin's UoF/MOAB training program (covered by Paladin with a 6-month employment commitment)
