Job SummaryReporting to the Production Manager, this entry-level position is responsible for mounting and basic wiring of components using standard layouts and options. The role includes performing sub-assembly functions and developing enhanced wiring skills under the guidance of a more experienced Electrical Assembler.
Key Responsibilities

1. Assemble and mount electrical, mechanical, and sub-assembly components onto panels, enclosures, and structures by following standard layouts.
2. Wire electrical products with basic or standard options according to customer drawing packages and schematics.
3. Wire electrical products with non-standard options under the direction of a more experienced Electrical Assembler, following customer drawings and schematics.
4. Perform continuity checks (e.g., buzzing out) to verify functionality.
5. Complete required checklists accuratelfo
6. Assemble enclosures and structures where applicable.
7. Deliver sub-assemblies to production areas timely.
8. Support inventory maintenance in the sub-assembly area by performing cycle counts, following standard materials procedures, and accessing information through CSSM.

Required Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent level of education.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well as a team player.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge or experience with basic wiring schematic symbols is an asset.
