Job Summary:The Material Handler I supports the warehouse team by performing all material handling duties including receiving, picking, loading/unloading, replenishment, cycle counting, and inventory control. This role ensures accuracy, safety, and adherence to Client quality and environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities:

1. Inspect and verify inbound materials for quantity, condition, and accuracy
2. Accurately pick and process outbound orders
3. Move materials between departments as needed
4. Complete all required shipping and receiving documentation
5. Conduct inventory cycle counts and assist in physical inventory processes
6. Perform replenishment tasks to maintain stock levels
7. Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies
8. Use computer systems to enter and retrieve inventory data
9. Support other warehouse operations and cross-functional tasks as required
10. Follow all safety, quality, and environmental policies and procedures

Required Qualifications:

1. High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution
2. Must reside within 80km of the Perth facility
3. Ability to work daily and/or weekend overtime, if required

Preferred Qualifications:

1. 1+ year of warehouse experience
2. Forklift or lift truck experience
3. Experience using RF scanners
4. Knowledge of Lean principles and continuous improvement
5. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
6. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
7. Quick learner with a strong work ethic
8. Team-oriented mindset

Working Conditions:

1. Physical work including lifting, bending, and moving materials
2. Warehouse environment with safety procedures in place
3. Must be able to operate equipment safely (training provided if necessary)
