Position Summary:
The project coordinator supports Project Managers by overseeing administrative tasks, ensuring resources availability, and facilitating communication among stakeholders to ensure project success.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project managers to develop comprehensive action plans, including resource allocation, timelines, and budgets.
- Handle various administrative tasks such as maintaining project documentation, scheduling meetings, and managing project-related communications. Including, but not limited to submit, track & process applicable shop drawings, manage close-out process for projects, prep, track & process monthly progress billings, change order preparation, tracking & submissions, contract and or AP reconciliations.
- Track project milestones and deliverables, ensuring that projects stay on schedule and within budget.
- Serve as a liaison between project teams and stakeholders, providing updates and addressing any concerns that arise during the project life cycle.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Perform all job functions in a safe and healthy manner, abiding by and in accordance with all applicable Health and Safety and Environmental company policies and government legislation/regulations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum two (2) years in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Proficient with MS Office applications, with a high level of Excel experience and the ability to learn and navigate company software (i.e.: JDE, Metrix, WebFocus, Bluebeam) programs.
- Ability to interact with customers and co-workers in a professional and timely manner.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Demonstrated organizational, interpersonal, and time management skills.
- Ability to multi-task within a fast-paced environment and ability to prioritize conflicting demands.
- Committed to documentation and process.
This position is an in-office role (Monday – Friday) with no hybrid option.
