There will be a practical assessment for any candidates that are being considered for these positions.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Competently operate medium to large farm tractor or front end loader with wing blades, box blade and rear mount snowblowers.
- Performs snow removal in parking lots at commercial properties.
- Keep equipment maintained, i.e. checking and top up fluids, clean filters, vehicle pre and post check.
- Assists with equipment maintenance and repair under supervision of the Fleet Manager.
- Perform other duties as required
- Valid G Driver's License with clean record is required
- Own transportation to shop (City transportation not available/reliable)
- Able to work days, nights, weekends, holidays, early morning, early evening, be on call 24/7
- Long shifts during storms
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform all other physical requirements associated with a position of this nature
