Site Superintendent – Multifamily & Residential Construction

Position Overview

We are currently seeking a skilled Site Superintendent to oversee construction projects in Calgary, specializing in multifamily wood-frame residential or single-family homes. The successful candidate will be responsible for the on-site leadership, coordination, and delivery of projects while ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and schedule adherence.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all on-site construction activities from start to completion.

• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, trades, and site staff.

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.

• Maintain project schedules and provide regular progress updates.

• Conduct quality control inspections and ensure adherence to specifications.

• Foster positive relationships with clients, consultants, and suppliers.

• Oversee site documentation and reporting requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Site Superintendent with a general contractor or home builder.

• Multifamily Experience: Completion of at least two full-cycle projects.

• Single-Family Experience: Production home building experience preferred; custom home experience will be considered.

• Certifications: Red Seal or Gold Seal certification preferred.

• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

• Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and site logistics effectively.
