Key Responsibilities

Lead and supervise a team of Traffic Control Personnel (TCPs), providing ongoing guidance and support

Manage scheduling for permanent and on-call field staff; review and approve timesheets

Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and training of new field staff

Oversee incident reporting, staff meetings, and safety briefings

Develop and implement Traffic Control Plans in compliance with safety regulations and project requirements

Attend and contribute to on-site Safety Tailgate meetings

Monitor traffic conditions and respond to incidents with real-time strategy adjustments

Maintain accurate records including project documentation, safety reports, and equipment inventory

Coordinate maintenance of vehicles and equipment assets

Ensure staff compliance with training standards, safety protocols, traffic regulations, and company SOPs

Collaborate with traffic control planners, project managers, contractors, and local authorities

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience in the traffic control industry

Valid Traffic Control Certification

Valid Drivers Licence with a clean Drivers Abstract

Compensation & Benefits

Annual Salary: $65,000-$70,000

Vacation: 2 weeks
