About the Role
Were seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Operations Administrator to support our growing oil and gas services business, with a strong presence in the Permian Basin and Colorado. This role is central to our day-to-day operations, ensuring projects, payroll, purchasing, and administration run smoothly. Youll manage our ticketing system, coordinate payroll, assist with purchasing and AR/AP, and serve as an essential support resource for our operations managers and technicians. If you thrive in a fast-paced, service-focused environment and enjoy solving problems while keeping processes on track, we want to hear from you.

What Youll Do

  • Manage and maintain our field ticketing system (FieldCap), including job creation, ticket review, data accuracy, and reporting.
  • Set up and maintain jobs for both lump sum and time-and-material projects.
  • Review and edit bi-weekly timesheets to support accurate payroll processing.
  • Create and manage purchase orders for project materials and inventory, track deliveries, reconcile invoices, and ensure timely entry into our systems.
  • Support accounts receivable and accounts payable processes.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to improve operational workflows and maximize system capabilities.
  • Provide general administrative and operational support to managers and field technicians.

What Were Looking For

  • Experience in the oil and gas services sector, ideally with electricians.
  • Background in payroll, purchasing, and/or AR/AP.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
  • Experience with NetSuite and/or FieldCap is a strong asset.
  • Strong organizational skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple priorities at once.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment with shifting demands.

What We Offer

  • Competitive compensation and benefits package, including RRSP plan.
  • Company laptop and cell phone.
  • Opportunities for continuous learning and professional development.
  • The chance to contribute to meaningful charitable initiatives through our RedTail Community Foundation.
