Location: Ontario, Alberta, Quebec or British Columbia
Onsite/Hybrid/Remote: Hybrid or remote depending on your proximity to our Toronto or Montreal office.
Years of experience: 3 – 5 years.
Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 CAD depending on experience, plus competitive benefits offering.

What you will do:
The Business Analyst is responsible for supporting the development, execution, and evaluation of strategic initiatives that drive business growth, operational efficiency, and long-term sustainability. This role conducts data-driven analysis, market research, and performance reviews to generate insights and recommendations for senior leadership. The ideal candidate possesses a strong analytical mindset, business acumen, and the ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct strategic analyses of internal operational and growth data to identify efficiencies, opportunities and risks
- Problem solves to find strategic solutions and effectively communicate technical and analytical findings in a straightforward, accessible manner
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the design and execution of key business initiatives and strategic projects
- Prepare and deliver high-quality presentations, reports, dashboards, and models for leadership decision-making
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), track progress against business objectives, and propose course corrections as needed
- Perform financial modeling, scenario planning, and cost-benefit analysis to evaluate strategic options
- Assist in the development of annual strategic plans, business cases, and executive briefings
- Support M&A evaluation, partnership assessments, and investment analyses, as applicable
- Stay informed on industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory shifts that may impact the business
- Any additional tasks pertinent to the position, as deemed appropriate by management.
Qualifications/Skills:
To excel in this role, you will need the following qualifications and skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Strategy, or related field
- 2–4 years of experience in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, business analytics, or a related role
- Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
