- Design, simulate, and test circuits involving high-voltage capacitors and energy storage systems.
- Develop and optimize multilayer PCB designs using industry-standard software (e.g., Altium Designer, KiCad).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on electronics integration, prototyping, and system debugging.
- Conduct risk assessments, thermal and safety analyses related to high-voltage systems.
- Generate detailed documentation including schematics, layout files, BOMs, and test plans.
- Support rapid iteration of hardware designs and prototype builds.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and safety standards (CSA, UL, CE as applicable).
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 35 years of relevant experience in circuit design and high-voltage systems.
- Proficient in PCB layout and design tools (Altium, KiCad, or equivalent).
- Strong understanding of analog and digital electronics.
- Excellent problem-solving, hands-on testing, and debugging skills.
- Familiarity with embedded systems and microcontrollers is an asset.
- Experience working in a manufacturing, R&D, or start-up environment preferred.
- $80,000-$100,000 annual salary, depending on experience.
