THE COMPANY

We're working with a small, design-led architecture studio in Vancouver known for delivering timeless, modern, and highly crafted projects. With a focus on custom homes, multi-family housing, and sensitive urban infill developments, this practice blends West Coast sensibility with European-inspired clarity and material depth. Their work is defined by precision, lightness, and a deep connection to context. The studio is led by a principal with international experience and a strong design vision. The team is collaborative, ideas-driven, and values hands-on involvement from concept through construction. Their culture is thoughtful, detail-oriented, and rooted in a genuine passion for architecture that enhances how people live.

THE ROLE

They're seeking a uniquely creative and design-savvy Architectural Designer (Intern or Registered Architect) with 3–8 years of experience to join their team. This is a key opportunity for someone who brings exceptional design acumen, critical thinking, and the ability to create original, contextually rich architecture.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Contribute to concept design and early-stage exploration

  • Develop high-quality drawing packages from schematic design through construction

  • Produce visually compelling presentation materials, renderings, and diagrams

  • Participate in design reviews, client meetings, and consultant coordination

  • Work closely with the principal and design team to refine architectural vision

  • Support detailing and documentation to carry strong concepts through execution

REQUIREMENTS
  • 3–7 years of post-graduation architectural experience

  • Degree in Architecture; Intern Architect AIBC or Registered Architect preferred

  • A portfolio that shows refined design thinking and originality

  • Strong proficiency in Vectorworks, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite

  • Experience in high-end residential or small-scale multi-family projects

  • Excellent communication, visualization, and presentation skills

  • Familiarity with BC codes, permitting processes, and detailing best practices

WHY JOIN THEM?
  • Design-first studio where architecture is personal, poetic, and well-crafted

  • Opportunity to shape award-winning work that stands out in the Vancouver market

  • Work in a collaborative setting where your ideas are heard and explored

  • Be mentored directly by the principal and senior team

  • Office located in a central Vancouver neighborhood, close to parks, cafes, and amenities

  • Studio culture that values depth over speed, and design over trend

If you're ready to bring your creative vision to life, contribute to refined residential and multi-family projects, and grow within a thoughtful, design-led studio - apply today or reach out directly to Dara at [email protected].
