Assist in the development of conceptual and detailed process designs
Perform process simulations using engineering software
Create and revise process flow diagrams (PFDs) and piping & instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs)
Prepare and update equipment datasheets and line lists
Assist with the sizing and specification of equipment, valves, and instrumentation
Support in the development of control narratives and cause-and-effect diagrams
Participate in HAZOP reviews and 3D model reviews
Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams on project proposals and deliverables
Ensure that all work complies with company standards and industry codes
Liaise with project managers and clients as required
Completion of a 2–3 year post-secondary diploma in mechanical, chemical, or process engineering technology
1–3 years of experience in an industrial, oil & gas, or process engineering environment preferred
Proficient with engineering software such as Aspen HYSYS, AutoCAD, or similar
Strong understanding of P&IDs, equipment design, and control systems
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Enrollment in ASET or eligibility considered an asset
