As a Technical Team Lead, you will guide a high-performing team of full stack and QA engineers while remaining deeply hands-on. You'll architect scalable solutions, champion engineering excellence, and drive innovation across our Fintech platforms, including international and alternative payment methods.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Technical Team Lead, you will:

• Lead and mentor engineers, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.

• Architect, design, and develop scalable backend and frontend systems using Java, Spring Boot, Node.js, and React/Next.js.

• Drive technical delivery through sprint planning, estimation, retrospectives, and ensuring timely, high-quality execution.

• Set and enforce best practices in coding, testing, CI/CD, and DevOps.

• Build robust APIs and microservices to support international payments, including alternative methods such as crypto and stablecoins.

• Translate business requirements into production-ready solutions in partnership with Product, QA, and Architecture teams.

• Drive continuous improvement in codebase health through reviews, refactoring, and technical debt management.

• Design and deploy cloud-native solutions using AWS (API Gateway, Lambda, Step Functions, DynamoDB) and AWS SAM for serverless development.

• Implement secure, scalable, and resilient architectures with a focus on performance and cost-efficiency.

• Advocate for modern DevOps practices, CI/CD automation, and infrastructure as code.

• Act as a technical escalation point, unblocking team members and supporting career growth.

• Communicate clearly with stakeholders, document decisions, and promote transparency.

• Champion Agile methodologies and foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

• 10+ years in software engineering, with at least 2+ years in a technical leadership role.

• Expertise in Java and Spring Boot; strong experience with Node.js, React/Next.js, and microservices.

• Proven AWS experience, especially with serverless architecture and tools like API Gateway, Lambda, Step Functions, DynamoDB, and AWS SAM.

• Experience integrating payment gateways, international payment rails, or crypto/blockchain solutions (strong plus).

• Deep understanding of RESTful APIs, OAuth, and relational/NoSQL databases.

• Strong advocate for CI/CD, automated testing, and Agile development practices.

• Demonstrated ability to coach engineers and QA teams, with excellent communication across technical and non-technical audiences.
