We are looking for a Junior Accountant to join our corporate team. This is a hands-on role working under the direct supervision of our Finance Director, giving you the opportunity to build your expertise in accounting for a multi-location, franchise-based business.

We are looking for a Junior Accountant to join our corporate team. This is a hands-on role working under the direct supervision of our Finance Director, giving you the opportunity to build your expertise in accounting for a multi-location, franchise-based business.
What Youll Do
- Handle day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries
- Assist in preparing financial statements, management reports, and analysis for multiple franchise locations
- Support the Finance Director with month-end and year-end closing processes
- Track budgets, monitor expenses, and maintain accurate records for internal reporting
- Help ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies
- Assist in preparing documents and reconciliations for audits
- Contribute to improving accounting workflows and systems as we scale
- University degree in Accounting or Finance (or nearing completion)
- 23 years of bookkeeping or junior accounting experience
- Currently pursuing, or planning to pursue, an accounting designation (CPA or equivalent)
- Solid skills in Microsoft Excel, experience with accounting software
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Ambitious, proactive, and eager to learn from experienced professionals
- Comfortable working in a growing, fast paced, entrepreneurial environment
- Availability to work full-time (3040 hours per week)
- Direct mentorship from our Finance Director and exposure to the unique dynamics of franchise accounting
