Our client is looking for a pre-finishing line operator to join their well-established team/sawmill. They are a leading manufacturer of hardwood flooring.

The line operator will primarily be working on the finishing line with the following responsibilities:

• Loading bundles
• Mixing stain and chemicals
• Checking sample boards
• Monitoring / walking the line

The selected candidate must:

• Be comfortable with a computer
• Be familiar with paint, chemicals, and stains
• Be able to operate a forklift (certificate not necessary as they have a trainer onsite)
• Have good mechanical ability with a great mindset and work ethic

You may also assist with the following:

• Maintenance work
• Shipping and receiving
• Dumping dust collector bins as needed
• Packaging product
• Sanding veneers and plywood

Additional Assets:

• Paint line experience
• Forklift experience

Schedule:

• Monday to Thursday: 6am - 4:30pm
• Friday: 6am - 3pm

Compensation: $22/hr
