Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented In-House Buyer to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about luxury fashion, has deep knowledge of designer brands, and excels in sourcing high-quality inventory that aligns with our brand standards and customer demand.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inventory Sourcing: Acquire pre-owned luxury handbags, accessories, and jewelry through consignors, walk-in sellers, and trusted networks.

• Authentication: Perform preliminary authentication checks using brand-specific guidelines and tools.

• Market Research: Stay updated on fashion trends, resale market pricing, and seasonal demand to make informed buying decisions.

• Negotiation: Negotiate purchase prices to ensure healthy margins while maintaining strong relationships with sellers and suppliers.

• Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing sellers, consignors, and high-value clients to secure repeat inventory.

• Quality Control: Ensure all purchased items meet our strict standards for authenticity, condition, and resale potential.

• Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and consignment agreements.

• Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and e-commerce teams to align buying strategy with current sales trends and customer preferences.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum 2 years in luxury fashion buying, personal shopping, or related field (resale experience is a plus).

• Brand Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of brands like Hermès, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Goyard, Dior, Cartier, Van Cleef & Arpels, etc.

• Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation and communication abilities.

• Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze market trends and pricing data.

• Detail-Oriented: Excellent attention to detail for authentication and quality control.

• Tech-Savvy: Proficient with Microsoft Office/Google Suite; experience with inventory systems a plus.
