As an Associate Field Solution Architect, you'll enjoy the power, training opportunity and expertise to dive deeper into the technology stack. We will look to you to utilize creative thinking along with your broad technical knowledge base spanning server, storage, networking, security, cloud and the inter-connectivity between them all to deliver industry leading solutions.

What you'll do:

  • Assist in organizing and delivering training to account managers about network practice area products and services.
  • Support internal and external communications by explaining basic features and benefits of new and emerging network solutions and provide straightforward guidance on implementation processes.
  • Contribute to the design and documentation of network solutions, particularly secondary, emerging, and complementary technologies, under the guidance of senior architects.
  • Provide technical support during customer meetings, including helping to identify services that complement hardware and software recommendations.
  • Help guide customers by offering input on network technology decisions and best practices, collaborating closely with more senior team members.
  • Participate in architectural discussions to better understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements with supervision.
  • Assist with technical aspects of the sales process during the sales cycle, such as preparing diagrams or basic solution overviews.
  • Stay informed about trends in network technologies and share relevant insights with team members and customers as appropriate.

What you need to succeed:

Must-have:

  • 2-4 years in an IT consulting or IT operations role
  • Knowledge and experience with network design and implementation.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and in a constructive manner with customers, coworkers, management and executives
  • Eager to take on new tasks/responsibilities and passion for customer experience, operational excellence and continuous development

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience in collaborating directly with customers along with a proven track record of technical leadership and accomplishments
  • Proven success in selling technology solutions and services, including engaging sales teams; demonstrated success selling to small business, enterprise or global customers.
  • Active accreditation from leading OEM partners.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

Each of our roles is assigned a salary range that is informed by multiple sources of market data. We determine individual pay within a given range based on a candidate's prior experience, knowledge, skills and abilities. This approach allows us to offer competitive and equitable salaries that reflect the value and responsibilities of each role at CDW. Salaries are based on a 40-hour workweek and paid on a bi-weekly payroll schedule.

Pay range: $ 78, 800 - $ 101, 040, depending on experience and skill set
