Job Title: Project Manager
Location: Greater Edmonton, Alberta
Salary: $110,000 to $140,000
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our client's team.
Position Overview: As a Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing light industrial, industrial, and commercial construction projects in the Greater Edmonton area. This is an opportunity to join and help lead a collaborative and innovative team, where your expertise will contribute to the successful delivery of high-quality projects.
What You Will Do:
  • Cultivate and sustain outstanding connections with clients and all project-related stakeholders.
  • Oversee and coordinate the project's design, budget, and timeline.
  • Collaborate closely with team members to review progress, identify potential risks, and develop solutions to meet deadlines.
  • Offer guidance to team members, ensuring the achievement of project objectives.
  • Monitor, document, and communicate all financial aspects of the project, including projections and invoicing.
  • Spearhead and execute the selection process for subcontractors, trades, and suppliers.
  • Uphold and promote the company's cultural values.

What You Need:
  • A minimum of 5 years of institutional/commercial construction experience.
  • A construction related degree/diploma is preferred.
  • Experience with Education facilities is an asset.
  • Previous experience working on educational facilities in preferred.
  • Experience with Procore and MS project is preferred.
  • Knowledge of pull planning techniques is preferred.
  • Must we willing to travel to sites and in some cases work from site office for the length of the project.
  • Must have strong knowledge of scheduling, project management and cost controls.
  • Must possess a valid and clean driver's license.
  • Must hold strong communication skills, both verbally and written.
  • Must be highly organized and able to prioritize responsibilities.
  • Must have a proven ability to take initiative and be respectful of diversity.
