Position Overview: As a Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing light industrial, industrial, and commercial construction projects in the Greater Edmonton area. What You Will Do:
- Cultivate and sustain outstanding connections with clients and all project-related stakeholders.
- Oversee and coordinate the project's design, budget, and timeline.
- Collaborate closely with team members to review progress, identify potential risks, and develop solutions to meet deadlines.
- Offer guidance to team members, ensuring the achievement of project objectives.
- Monitor, document, and communicate all financial aspects of the project, including projections and invoicing.
- Spearhead and execute the selection process for subcontractors, trades, and suppliers.
- Uphold and promote the company's cultural values.
What You Need:
- A minimum of 5 years of institutional/commercial construction experience.
- A construction related degree/diploma is preferred.
- Experience with Education facilities is an asset.
- Previous experience working on educational facilities in preferred.
- Experience with Procore and MS project is preferred.
- Knowledge of pull planning techniques is preferred.
- Must we willing to travel to sites and in some cases work from site office for the length of the project.
- Must have strong knowledge of scheduling, project management and cost controls.
- Must possess a valid and clean driver's license.
- Must hold strong communication skills, both verbally and written.
- Must be highly organized and able to prioritize responsibilities.
- Must have a proven ability to take initiative and be respectful of diversity.
