Estimator – ICI Healthcare Construction
Location: Barrie, Ontario
Salary: $90K – $110K (depending on experience)

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join a reputable construction management team specializing in healthcare and institutional ICI projects. This role offers the opportunity to work on technically complex builds and renovations with a focus on accuracy, collaboration, and delivering high-value solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed estimates for ICI construction projects (new build and renovations), with a strong focus on healthcare facilities.

• Perform comprehensive quantity take-offs, cost analysis, and tender submissions.

• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations to ensure competitive pricing and scope coverage.

• Collaborate with project management and field teams to refine budgets and monitor cost performance.

• Maintain accurate and organized records of estimates, tenders, and bid documentation.

• Stay up to date with industry pricing trends, market conditions, and building codes.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience estimating ICI projects, preferably in healthcare, institutional, or similar technical environments.

• Strong knowledge of construction means, methods, and industry-standard estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, OST, or equivalent).

• Familiarity with CCDC contracts and Ontario Building Code requirements.

• Highly organized with excellent analytical and communication skills.

• Post-secondary education in construction management, engineering, or related field is an asset.
