The opportunity
(Please note H&S offers hybrid option. Candidates can work from anywhere in Canada)
The role is responsible for the day-to-day execution of email marketing campaigns, and supporting the design / build/ launch of email campaigns to increase marketing campaign efficiency. Focus of this role will be executing on Direct Marketing and P2P email marketing plans.
How you will make an impact every day
Design, build, launch and test email marketing workflows in Salesforce Marketing Cloud to enhance existing and new constituent journeys.
  • Help maintain email best practices and excellence when working with stakeholders and executing email campaigns
  • Design, build and launch email campaigns tailored to different audiences
  • Support the optimization of email and constituent lifecycle campaigns, utilizing new and existing email capabilities including within but not limited to Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Email Studio, Journey Builder, Einstein)
  • Comprehend email marketing briefs and be able to execute with a high level of accuracy
  • Support analysis by pulling results to help identify opportunities for campaign improvement and support the development of recommendations
  • Manage email audiences and content while maintaining efficient and effective stakeholder communication to ensure milestones and deadlines are met
  • Perform quality assurance on all coded emails with the production team to ensure products, content, and links are correct to ensure an errorfree deployment
  • Support the execution and rollout of net-new email programs such as automated and triggered programs
  • Implement A+B testing to enhance learning agendas and improve campaign performance
  • Challenge the status quo by consistently identifying areas for improvement, diagnosing issues, and working to resolve them
  • Work effectively in a hybrid model alongside email marketing agency

Monitor and report on the email marketing campaign; use analytics and insights to optimize programming for improved engagement and conversion rates.
  • Track, compile, and analyze email campaign results to ensure campaigns are meeting objectives
  • Support the pursuit of campaign KPIs, such as open and click rates, helping identify opportunities of improvement.
  • Assist in building and maintaining reports and dashboards within SFMC to track ROI and campaign success metrics
  • Analyze the performance of email programming, including A/B testing, and extra insights, to identify opportunity of improvement
  • Support the recommendations based on data to improve engagement and conversions of future campaigns
  • Work with analytics to drive deeper backend data insights beyond fundraising activities

Maintain and ensure platform functionality is optimized for marketing campaigns
  • Collaborate with IT Team, Salesforce Administrator, and email team to maintain process integration, optimize processes, deliver technology scope
  • Support the implementation of technology roadmap and ensure all elements are delivered in partnership with stakeholders

Who we need
Education
  • Post-secondary
  • Certificates in Email Marketing, Data Analytics, or Automation Platforms is a plus

Experience
  • 2-3 years' experience building nurture and lifecycle management workflows using enterprise-level marketing automation systems (e.g. Salesforce Marketing Cloud).
  • Experience using SalesForce Marketing Cloud Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Cloud Page design, SFMC Integrations concepts is a plus
  • Experience in database management (list management, data cleanliness, reporting, data import/export)

Skills
  • Hands on knowledge of HTML, SQL, SSJS, AMP Script, CSS
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics and other reporting dashboards
  • Highly analytical with ability to derive insights from data and/or dashboards to make broader optimization recommendations to improve email performance
  • Proven ability to handle multiple changing projects at one time with attention to detail and quality execution (ability to prioritize)
  • Excellent project management skills specific to marketing
  • Self-starter attitude
  • A problem solver with innate curiosity and desire to improve and challenge the status quo
