Who You Are

We are currently seeking aJourneyman Plumberto join our team inFort Chipewyan, AB. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems across residential, commercial, and public facilities. Your work will directly support the safety and comfort of our community.

You will collaborate with a team of skilled professionals committed to delivering high-quality service to Mikisew members.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in compliance with local codes and regulations.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues; recommend effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with team members to plan and execute plumbing projects.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and areas for improvement.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to community members.
  • Stay current with industry trends and advancements.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications

  • Journeyman Plumber certification (required).
  • Minimum of 2 years of plumbing experience.
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, regulations, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing plumbing systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

  • Clean Class 5 Drivers License.
  • Willingness to submit to an oath of confidentiality.
