Summary
St. Margarets School (SMS) is Western Canadas only girl-centered, independent day and boarding school located in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada on the unceded traditional territories of the Esquimalt Nations, Songhees Nations, and WSNE Nations. Founded in 1908, SMS is an international centre for girl-centered learning and leadership development, providing empowering education for girls from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 12 (boarding grades 712). St. Margarets School is an International Baccalaureate (IB) School offering the Diploma Programme, and we are a candidate school for the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP).
The Teacher on Call (TOC) Coordinator provides essential support to faculty, directors, and school leadership by responding to inquiries, managing the Teacher-on-Call (TOC) and on-call staff lists for JKGrade 12, and coordinating staffing requests. This role requires strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills to ensure smooth daily operations within the school. The position demands discretion, sound judgment, and the ability to work independently while upholding the schools vision, mission, and values.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Respond to inquiries from faculty and directors
- Maintain TOC and On-Call list; receive and fill requests for TOCs and on-call staff JK-Grade 12
- May be required to perform other assigned comparable duties within the scope of knowledge, skills and abilities required for this position
Required Education & Experience
- Minimum of five years experience providing administrative support in an educational environment is an asset
- Office Administration Certificate

- Computer literate and proficient in the use of various software including Microsoft Office Suite
- Proficient in typing and data entry skills; excellent spelling, punctuation, and grammar skills
