Our client is seeking an experienced Mechanical HVAC Designer Intermediate to join their engineering team. Responsibilities

• Design and develop HVAC systems for commercial and industrial applications
• Prepare detailed mechanical drawings using Revit, AutoCAD, and Autodesk software
• Perform load calculations to determine heating and cooling requirements
• Select and specify appropriate mechanical equipment, including boilers, chillers, and pumps
• Create ductwork and hydronic piping layouts for optimal performance
• Design domestic and sanitary plumbing systems
• Ensure compliance with applicable building codes and regulations
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other trades for coordinated project delivery
• Conduct field inspections and provide technical support during installation and construction

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 59 years of experience in mechanical HVAC design
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Autodesk tools
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, hydronic piping, and ductwork design
• Familiarity with natural gas systems and plumbing design principles
• Ability to interpret and apply building codes and regulations
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
