Responsibilities:

• Perform cleaning and sanitation throughout the facility, including production areas and restrooms.
• Sweep, mop, and scrub industrial floors using manual and powered cleaning equipment.
• Collect and dispose of waste, scrap metal, and recyclables in accordance with safety guidelines.
• Operate floor scrubbers, pressure washers, and other industrial cleaning tools.
• Assist with minor facility maintenance and report hazards or needed repairs.
• Follow all workplace safety and PPE requirements.

Qualifications:

• Previous industrial or janitorial experience preferred (especially in manufacturing environments).
• Comfortable working in a hot, noisy, and dusty steel production facility.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in varying temperatures.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to use cleaning machinery.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Schedule:

• Train on days for a few weeks, then switch to afternoons.
