About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a Civil Earthworks Superintendent with strong plant/pad construction experience, finishing expertise, and final grading skills for multiple pump station sites. This is not a straight pipeline position — we require a Superintendent with experience in civil early works, final grading, and plant/pad builds.
This project runs from the end of August to end of October on a 10 & 4 shift, with 10-hour workdays plus travel. LOA will be provided.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate all civil earthworks activities, including early works, grading, and pad construction.
  • Oversee multiple pump station sites ensuring quality, safety, and schedule adherence.
  • Manage crews, subcontractors, and equipment to optimize efficiency and maintain productivity.
  • Ensure finishing and final grading meet design specifications and tolerances.
  • Maintain compliance with project safety requirements and corporate safety programs.
  • Liaise with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Provide daily progress reports and resolve any on-site issues quickly and effectively.

Education/Skills/Qualifications

  • Minimum 8+ years of Civil Earthworks Superintendent experience.
  • Proven plant/pad construction and final grading background.
  • Ability to manage multiple crews and coordinate activities across multiple sites.
  • Strong knowledge of earthworks, compaction, drainage, and grading specifications.
  • Strong computer skills, especially in the use of Microsoft and Google Suite of products. We are a Google-based company.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Must have valid safety tickets: CSTS, WHMIS, First Aid, H2S Alive,Ground Disturbance 201 (Level II)
  • Valid driver's license, clean driver's abstract, and ability to pass pre-employment requirements
  • Must be able to work legally in Canada
