THE POSITION

The Product Manager leads the vision, strategy, and market success of innovative industry-leading new products, driving its expansion across global markets and into applications ranging from infrastructure to community safety. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the product from strategy through execution, working closely with a high-performing cross-functional team to achieve growth targets and deliver market-leading results.

HOW YOU WILL BE MAKING AN IMPACT

  • Develop and execute a compelling product strategy for an innovative safety solution.
  • Collaborate with a cross-functional team of department leaders to shape the product roadmap.
  • Serve as the product expert in support of sales initiatives, driving customer engagement and strategic partnerships.
  • Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify trends, customer needs, competitor landscape, and growth opportunities.
  • Plan and deliver successful product launches across diverse applications and target markets.
  • Collaborate with marketing to craft clear messaging highlighting product differentiators and market segments.
  • Partner with internal teams to incorporate customer feedback and drive product improvement.

WHAT SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE YOU REQUIRE

  • Post-secondary education in Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA considered an asset.
  • Background in Engineering and/or Project Management preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in business development or project management, with a proven track record of exceeding performance targets.
  • Strategic thinker with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Confident communicator skilled in relationship-building, presentation, and negotiation.
  • Effective at time management and prioritizing in fast-paced environments.
  • Proficient in CRM platforms, internet research, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Valid driver's license and clean drivers abstract.
  • Able to travel within Canada, the USA, and internationally as needed.
