Job Summary
If you're interested in an Entry Level Seed Technician job, then this is the best role for you! Supporting the Agronomic Research Specialists, the Seed Technicians will be responsible for sorting, cleaning and shipping of canola harvest samples. Additionally, they will be involved in hand-harvesting canola and soybean plots for purposes of testing and seed purification which includes cleaning, sorting, treating and packaging of harvested seed.
Job Description
- Packaging and sampling of Canola seed
- Labeling, organizing, sorting, sequencing, threshing, and scanning of seed samples and inventory.
- Following company safety rules and standard operating procedures
- Performing highly repetitive tasks.

Education/Training/Certifications
- High School Diploma or Post-Secondary Degree
Additional Requirements
- Must pass a drug screening and criminal background check
- Shift: 08:00 AM
- Hours per Day: 8
- Hours per Week: 32 to 40, dependent of business needs (Monday to Friday), Sometimes on Saturdays (Overtime)
- Ability to lift 25 lbs.
Pay Rate/Salary
- Estimated Salary: $13.43 to $21.43 per hour based on qualifications.
