About the Role
Neobridge Healthcare is seeking to expand its roster of Pharmaceutical Reviewers to support timely, evidence-based evaluations of pharmaceutical products. These reviews inform public health system decisions on funding, reimbursement, and adoption of drugs across jurisdictions.
Contractors in this role will be responsible for producing clinical review reports and draft recommendation documents. Working collaboratively with internal leads, reviewers will execute data analyses and synthesize evidence according to standardized templates and quality requirements. Projects must be completed on schedule with a high level of scientific rigour and clarity.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct and interpret systematic reviews and health technology assessments (HTAs) on pharmaceuticals.
- Perform data analysis and synthesis, including narrative synthesis and meta-analysis.
- Critically appraise clinical evidence and interpret results in the context of therapeutic value and public health impact.
- Apply GRADE methodology in evaluating certainty and strength of evidence.
- Develop written reports (clinical reviews, draft recommendations) aligned with organizational standards.
- Coordinate with internal leads to manage timelines and feedback throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in systematic reviews, meta-analysis, and HTAs.
- Solid understanding of the principles of evidence-based medicine and clinical research study design.
- Proficiency in quantitative data analysis and synthesis techniques.
- Experience applying GRADE methodology in health evidence assessments.
- Strong written communication skills, particularly in scientific and technical writing.
- Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills.
Preferred Assets
- Knowledge of health economics concepts and types of economic evaluations.
- Experience reviewing and appraising qualitative health research.
- Familiarity with statistical and meta-analysis software (e.g., Review Manager, R, SAS).
- Understanding of Canada's healthcare system and drug policy decision-making processes at federal, provincial, and territorial levels.
