Altum Health is seeking a dedicated and professional Part Time Security Guard to join our team in Oshawa. The successful candidate will ensure the safety, security, and well-being of our staff, patients, and visitors, while maintaining a welcoming and professional environment.

• Patrol and monitor premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion.
• Control access to the facility and verify identification of all visitors.
• Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and security incidents.
• Complete detailed incident reports and maintain accurate security logs.
• Work collaboratively with healthcare staff to ensure a safe environment.

Requirements

• Valid Ontario Security License
• Immunization record including MMR, Varicella, and 2 TB tests
• First Aid & CPR Level C certification
• Covid-19 vaccination
• Superior written and verbal communication skills
• Legally authorized to work in Canada

• Post-secondary education in law enforcement/security from a recognized college (preferred)
• Knowledge of the Trespass to Property Act and Mental Health Act
• Demonstrated punctuality, reliability, tact, and diplomacy
• Previous customer service or security experience
