What You'll Do

Our Health and Safety Consultants help clients support and protect their most valuable asset – their people – by identifying health and safety risks, performing audits, and providing support and guidance.

As a Health and Safety Consultant you will:

• Undertake physical and virtual assessments to determine clients' requirements for health and safety projects, training, expectations, and delivery.
• Collaborate with internal and external parties to ensure that service is delivered in a timely and appropriate manner while maintaining a standard of excellence.
• Maintain productive and professional relationships with clients, and where appropriate deal with issues that are raised in a professional way.
• Ensure that all records and documents relating to client activity are created and updated in line with contractual requirements.
• Regularly update internal systems including Salesforce to ensure that all interactions are visible within Citation Canada.

Requirements

About You

You are a dedicated health and safety professional who:

• Has at least 5-7 years of progressive health and safety experience, ideally in a high-risk industry such as manufacturing, transportation, or construction.
• Has successfully completed a bachelor's degree or diploma in health and safety or a related field.
• Has at least 5-7 years of experience conducing health and safety audits and inspections.
• Is ambitious, confident, competitive, and coachable.
• Can tackle objections with ease and close the deal!
• Has a record of exceeding targets.
• Excels at building relationships with business owners, health and safety professionals, and C-level executives.
• Can leverage a consultative selling approach.

It's a bonus if you:

• Have multi-jurisdiction compliance knowledge and experience.
• Possess a professional designation related to health and safety.
• Has 3 years of experience in a B2B sales environment.
• Are bilingual.
