Our Scarborough client, a leading facility maintenance supplier, is looking for a Warehouse Manager to join their dynamic team! This role will report to and work with the Branch Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Coach, lead, manage and oversee a team of 10 employees (shipper/receivers)
• Receive, ship, pick, pack and replenish orders
• Schedule and optimize operational efficiencies ensuring compliance within warehouse (training, safety, and order fulfillment)
• Administer workflow and prepare work schedules for staff
• Use Warehouse Management Systems (AS400) for inventory management
• Trains staff on processes, material handling, equipment usage and maintenance
• Ensure efficient inventory control process and ensure accuracy and timely order fulfillment
• Monitor and manage warehouse KPIs, including productivity, accuracy of order fulfillment, and conduct performance evaluations
• Ensure proper maintenance and repairs are conducted for material handling equipment when necessary
• Ensure strict adherence to health and safety policies

Qualifications and Skills:

• 2- 5 years of experience as a Warehouse Manager
• 2-5 years of experience in Distribution/Warehouse environment
• Excellent organization, problem solving and attention to detail skills
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Proficient with Warehouse Management Systems
• Strong understanding of Health and Safety Policies
• Strong management and leadership skills
• Great customer service skills, works well with others
• Great time Management skills, self-motivated and self-directed

Bonus Qualifications:

• Experience in HVAC and/or Plumbing industry (asset)
• Proficient in using AS400 (asset)
• Knowledge of American Sign Language (ASL) (asset)
• Ability to handle a variety of high-pressure situations and work independently
• Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume warehouse environment

Compensation and Hours:

• Monday to Friday: 8:00am – 5:00pm (Saturdays as needed)
• Salary: $50,000 to $60,000 per annum (based on experience)
